After ten years of solid programming bassist, composer, organizer and all around stand-up gentleman, Carl Testa, is bringing the Uncertainty Music Series to a close. The final events of the series will take place the weekend of September 23-24. Excellent musicians from New Haven, New York, and Boston will be converging at Firehouse 12 in New Haven to present their work. In order to make sure the musicians are compensated for their time, effort, and travel, and to try to keep the price of admission as low as possible, Carl has started an Indiegogo campaign. If you have at all enjoyed Carl’s efforts over the years I urge you to donate. Carl has put together a fantastic line-up to burn the festival down with. For more info…check out the Indiegogo page. The event is currently 1/3 funded.
To learn more about the history of the series check out Carl’s interview with Jeremiah Cymerman on the 5049 podcast.
As a bonus, there is an excerpt of the piece Jeremiah will be presenting at the concert on Saturday 9/23 at the end of the interview.
